Inspiration
i am an American woman living in the United States and the necessity in filling out any document thai i have to classify my ethnicity shows that racial inequality still exists. on any given sunday all across the world people gather together in buildings to attend some form of religious activity and the race that is predomonant in the congregation is usually a reflection of the person leading the assembly. God has allowed me to grow up in a neighborhood that is not a mirror image of myself that enabled me to see people by their actions rather than their skin color. It breaks my heart that people are " judged by the color of their skin not the content of ther character." (MLK) still to this day. This injustice applies to all races one to another. If we can all just step out of ourselves learn from one another. Open our hearts to embrace the variety God has created for us to enjoy then we as His children can and will be an example to the rest of our sphere of influence
How
Get out of my comfort zone and attend a church that is of a race predominately not of my own. If we can break down the barriers that separate us in our place of worship then those same barriers can be eradicated in our day to day living. Allow HIS love to flow through us to reach those who are not the same racial demographic. Allow yourself to be embraced by another culture and do the same. Then sit back and watch HIS love flow.
