I'm often a loner, and I know how someone feels when they are down and really need comfort. I know the pain people get when no one's there to talk to them in their times of need.

I talked to some girl at church (whom I didn't know yet) and tried to make her feel at ease with me. After a few minutes of chatting, we clicked. There was the connection Christians should have with one another. We're friends now.

Took the initiative and courage to come up to a total stranger and saying hello.
