Meal for Meals

Access to Food
Australia - Sydney
Inspiration
Knowing that people are starving all over the world- and that I have to do at least something to help.
What
Fast from food one day a week- Take the money that I would have spent that day on food and give it to World Vision to help eradicate preventable deaths due to hunger.
How
I'm a broke college student- and for me its pretty easy to spend at least 10 bucks a day on food (coffee, snacks, meals, etc...). I just thought that if we could take the money we spend on food on just one day a week- in a months time that can really add up and make a difference. You can even pray for those who don't have food that day while you're stomach is growling! - I know its a pretty small sacrifice given we live such exorbitant lives- but every little bit can make a big difference.
When
One day a week

Good idea. It's gonna help others and it's good for yourself too... eat something cheap and heathier then fast food :-) like it!

I think that would be a way cool thing to do. Your pretty much putting yourself in their shoes for a day while you are using money to try to put them in your shoes.
