the Freedom For Alice project

Inspiration
God has this way of rearranging us to the point where our hearts break over injustices that we previously couldn’t really be bothered about. That’s what happened to me anyway. However small my impact may be, I just couldn’t stand the thought of doing nothing anymore. When history records these times and the next generation look to us and ask ‘Where were you when countless people were in slavery and being trafficked across the globe and what did you do about it’ I hope I can respond with something more than ‘I couldn’t see how I could make a difference and so I did nothing...’
What
I created the Freedom For Alice project.
How
I’m an illustrator and have had my own business since 2007. Business sounds much bigger than it really is, I have a name, ABN, web site and a stack of cards I designed and had printed at a local printers. I’ve had a few years experience selling my art though shops, online and at markets so I was already very familiar with the process of creating and selling art...the main thing I’ve done is redirect where the profits go (100% of profits are donated to The A21 Campaign) and added purpose to my art.
