Inspiration
I work in the city. Everyday I pass the same groups of homeless people. Always asking for money, always in the same places. After a while it got frustrating, but then Jesus immediately grabbed my attention. I can do something.
What
Make some change, break a bill. Everytime I pass by one of these guys, instead of walking by, I exchange my dollar for 2 minutes of their time. A bit of bargaining, but a quick chat never hurt anyone. Its an opportunity to share the Gospel and give them a bit of a blessing.
How
Easy, took all that paper in my wallet and turned a bit of it into coins.. . Didn't have to stop at every person, but at least make the effort for one, if your going to give them your money, the least they could do is have a conversation. Makes sense right?

Its awesome that you stop and talk. Its so easy just to donate an move on, but giving time is a real sacrifice.

9Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;

I think that it's great that you give money to the homeless but also spread the gospel. Keep up the good work!
You know what? In Korea, there's a star-couple. They're saving 10 dollars per a day. And when their wedding aniversary came, they donate 3650dollars every year! And I think if we all start to save A dollar A day, it would change this world.

I had the chance to talk to a homeless man.
And he was one of the most humble people I've ever met. He didn't have much so he appreciated what he did have. He was a Christian. Talking to him I was hoping to be a blessing to him, but he ended up being a blessing to me.
He was a self proclaimed poet and he wrote a poem about how people get caught up in their lives with what they have, but he always has what he needs. It was pretty inspirational.

This a a great way to share the gospel! I will have to change the dollar a day to a rand a day in SA! :-) I'll have to share this with my fellow youth members! Will def promote it at our next youth meeting and see how it goes! Thanks
