That's great :) I was thinking aboute something like that just a fex days ago. Great challenge. Seems little, but its all about coming out of our confort zone.
Simple and constructive. How can the church reach outside the walls if it can't reach out inside of them?
So true Patrick!
Definitely! We're all one BODY of Christ. We're supposed to be a commUNITY of believers at church! nice!
This is a timeless idea Raj. Going to church for others, not just yourself.
Such a good challenge and the comments are very thoughtful! Thank you!
Awesome challenge! thanks for reminding us to step out of "our box"...and to seek to serve and bless others when we go to church:D
When we finally meet Jesus in Heaven, what will the dialogue be like?:
Us: 'Hey, I lived a moral life, I didn't offend anyone and I didn't make a fool of myself'
Jesus: 'That's good, I love you'.
OR
Us: 'So many times I was scared, I felt embarrassed most days and people thought I went too far with my faith. Sometimes I doubted if what I was doing was right and most days I was blindly trusting You God, that You would make my actions right. I tried to love passionately.'
Jesus: 'Wow. I'm really impressed. I love you the same as any other of my creations, but what you did with the time I gave you, that was amazing. Yes, you stuffed up, yes you did some foolish things, but those things were also dangerous, they were leaps of faith. That took bravery and courage. Great work.'
I want to try and take God's breath away, not just make Him content with my mediocrity.
