Inspiration
A friend of mine invited me down to the streets of our city, Detroit. He wanted me to experience what was happening in the heart of our city. I saw people tired, hungry, and searching. We, along with others, gave what food we could, but we knew we had to do more.
What
We started telling people about the need. Invited people to do something. We gave all we did to God. We started making more food. We started investing in the people we would see every time. We pray with people. We visit people in need. We show God's love in every way we can.

"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believe" - Galatians 6:9-10
How
We told people about it. No one would know if no one told them.

We prayed about it. We give all that we do to God and pray that he would use us and bless us.

We cooked. We pulled together people, resources, and equipment. We grill burgers. We make soup. We buy bread. We serve until we have nothing left to give.

We strive to glorify God and show his love to all that we can in anyway we can and strive to pull others along to help more people love more people.
When
Every Saturday

Thank you so much for taking the action! We were just part of Colour Your World Conference here in Sydney and we packed hundreds of toiletry bags for the homeless. The most impacting part of this event was when one of the delegates to the conference came to help and come to find out, she had been homeless over a year ago and had received one of these packs herself. She said that for the first time in her life, she felt like someone cared about her. Thanks for spreading the love!
