Me in a poem:
A Seeker,
a Dreamer, a Wisher, a Hoper, a Laugher,
a Talker, a Thinker, a Reader, a Sinner,
a Trier, a Crier, a Failure FORGIVEN.
"The Christian ideal has not been tried and found lacking; it has been found difficult and left untried.” — G.K. Chesterton

Been hearing about the crazy stuff going on between North and South Korea. I'll be praying for you and the people of N.K. Love you all!

Some teenage friends of my youth pastor just finished biking from California to Florida - all the way across the U.S. to raise money to fight sex trafficking in Columbia. It took them 13 weeks to go over 3,000 miles, about 4,900 km. They built a website, got sponsors, sold t-shirts, and got other churches involved nationwide. They called their event Breaking the Cycle. You might be able to get some ideas from their site or contact them and get advice for planning this kind of trip. Look on my profile under "Ideas" and click the Breaking the Cycle icon to see links to their sites. I hope this works out for you; it's an awesome idea. I'll be praying!

Thank you for your story. I loved hearing from you about your brothers and sisters in NK. And thank you for reminding me that they're my brothers and sisters too. I will definitely be praying for them. I'll talk to my youth group as well and maybe make some posters or t-shirts. We are MUCH LOVED and NEVER ALONE. <><

I wanted to do something hard to help others. When I did the Famine, it gave me a chance to feel what others in need felt and raise awareness. Read More >>
